Welcome to Avian Oasis Rescue and Rehabilitation! A parrot rescue in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

We strive to find every bird a loving home with quality care, proper cages, and lots of toys.

Our rescue was founded in October 2024, located in Northern Wisconsin. Between all three of our directors (one of whom is a veterinarian), we have many years of experience with various species of birds. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 rescue organization. Avian Oasis Rescue also has volunteers all over Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, so we can serve people needing help from all over!

For every bird that comes into our care, we have a quarantine period and health check. We also take our time to learn each individual's history, personality, and possible dietary changes they might need.

Parrots are such loving and intelligent animals. That is why having a large cage, and many toys for enrichment is so important to us. A bored parrot can become a plucking parrot, and housing birds, even finches in tiny cages, can shorten their lifespan.

* Please understand we are a small organization, if we do not have a particular type of bird you are looking to adopt, check back later. We never know what birds we might be contacted about next.

* All adoption fees, and donations are non-refundable.

*** A signed requirement sheet, adoption application, pictures and/or video of the room where bird(s) will be kept, and proof of large cage, toys and quality food are required for ALL adoptions.***

Avian Oasis Rescue reserves the right to deny any applications if we feel is not a good fit for the adoptable bird(s). We strive to find the BEST possible home for every parrot in our care.
