Available Parrots for Adoption

All birds have a health hold (quarantine) for 2 weeks or longer if needed.  We are diligent about learning each individual bird's personality, health status, and dietary changes they may need.  We also prefer to give them time to adjust before any necessary nail or beak trims are given.  Avian Oasis Rescue generally does NOT take in any birds in poor feather due to risk of diseases such as PBFD.

Adoption Process

*All potential adopters must fill out our requirement and adoption forms, sent via email.

* Proof of a large cage and what food you will be feeding your bird(s) must also be provided.

* A video of the room where you will keep the bird(s) is required.

* We do NOT adopt out any parrots for breeding purposes.

Scheduled to come in:
Parakeets
Green Wing Macaw
Cockatiels

(Not available for adoption yet)

Cockatiel available for adoption. Bird Rescue. Parrot Rescue Wisconsin

Dusty is a handsome 13 year old male, not quite tame but LOVES attention and can probably become tame with some work.  It is preferred for you to have other birds in your home because he loves communicating with others.      ***Dusty is currently in a foster home

Blue is a female Indian Ringneck. Her beak grew too long in her previous home, which will require some ongoing care. We are seeking a local adopter for this reason.  She LOVES attention and eating her vegetables!

We are currently in need of Zupreem Nut Blend Pellets (all sizes), please consider donating. We greatly appreciate it!

Surrender Information

* Completed and submitted surrender forms are required.

* You MUST send a picture(s) of the parrots you are looking to surrender to help prevent us from bringing in sick birds.

* Parting with a pet can be very tough. I work hard to send updates and pictures for those who would like to keep up with knowing the wellbeing of every bird.

We LOVE keeping in touch with adopters and seeing pictures of the parrots in their new homes! If you have any questions about the adoption or surrender process, please reach out via email, chat, or text.
Every bird deserves a loving home with excellent care.
